P.S I have to say that when I thought about this perspective I thought it would be cool and the references would be infinite. I was very wrong. There are millions of GWS photos out there but I couldn't find one of a Great White from directly below...same with the surfers! So a bit of guessing was needed.

this is awesome! i luv sharks, great whites and tiger..in that order.
i agree with your descript here
there are so many pics of sharks but not many offering this perspective
and yep, this angle does provoke a certain primordial fear...
the not knowing just what may lurk underneath, completely vulnerable and
utterly helpless if the majestic predator resorts to eons of instinct development
driven by hunger!...
at least these thoughts often go through my mind whenever i indulge in my passion
for swimming in the vast open ocean..!
